Decades of racing on Lasers (not well...), Albacores, J24 (up to World's), J80, 105, 109, and 44's, and others. Tend to prefer one design. Own a Laser and J30 that I race informally (the J30 with my wife, usually double-handed). New to area - member of Hempstead Harbour Club in Long Island, New York, but moved to Holland in the past month. Tend to drive, trim jib/spin, do tactics. Not great towards the front of bigger boats at 215 lbs, plus I prefer back of the boat discussions/decisions and crew work. Happy to crew front of two-handed boats, though, if not to heavy for the class of boat.

Dingy racing (Lasers, MCs) over past 20 years has led to offshore racing for the last 3 years. Crewed on Bravo Zulu (J95) briefly 2021, last two years have been on Muskegon-based Vivienne, a 43 Nelson-Marek design. Worked all positions during 2022 Mac Race. Skills are moderate, age 59, in good physical condition with no limitations or special needs. Availability is good for Wednesday's and weekends as work is becoming less time-consuming. Get along well with others, good listener and fairly quick learner. Currently shopping for a late model racer/cruiser in the 41 to 44 range.

Will be a reliable crew member, make it a priority, and show up. Will work hard. Live 1 minute from Yacht Basin and 20 minutes from the club. I'm 62 years old, have done some sailing, but no racing. I'm an engineer and learn fast and will follow instructions. I will get along with your current crew.

Singlehanded sailing an Ericson 27 for 1.5 years. Some racing experience with Ideal 18s and J70s as crew assisting with trimming, bow work and sandbagging. Some racing knowledge, NOT EXPERT. Looking for any position as crew with serious racer. Been working in the marine industry as a technician for 6 years. Very familiar with nautical terminology and my way around a vessel.

I have crewed in several races up in Muskegon. Outside of that I have been practicing with day sailing from time-to-time on smaller boats.
I am familiar with some of the sailing terminology and safety procedures while manning the lines and other positions of a vessel.
I am looking forward to learning more!
