 Macatawa Bay Yacht Club has been a special, magical place for its members, family, and friends since 1899. Our mission is to promote camaraderie and enrich shared experiences through nautical activities, social events, and education. We cherish our reputation as a warm, outgoing, multi-generational family club that welcomes diversity among members of high character, believing these are valuable dimensions of the fellowship we share. Our club takes pride in building upon its sailing and competitive racing heritage while broadening its appeal to a wider spectrum of members by enthusiastically promoting our power squadron, swimming, and other aquatic programs. We want our Club facility, pool, and grounds to be a relaxing nautical sporting environment which accommodates all age groups with ease to facilitate maximum member and family interaction. We provide casual food and beverage service with flexibility to accommodate more formal occasions and special member events. Next Steps: The application process is quite simple. First, fill out our application form via the link below. Fees will not be due until after your application is accepted. You are required to have two members sponsor your membership application. In the event you do not know members who can fill these roles, we will be happy to introduce you. Boat ownership is not a requirement to be considered for membership, however, boating involvement is valued. Applications are reviewed by our Membership Committee and presented to our Board of Directors for consideration of acceptance and vote. If you would like a tour of the club facilities, we recommend that you ask a member to bring you as a guest.
